UNTAMED Nature, Instinct & Form

I’m excited to announce that ZusszArt will be part of UNTAMED, a multidisciplinary exhibition presented by AR’T Glorie in collaboration with MØODHOOD in Antwerp.

From 30 October until 20 November 2026, UNTAMED brings together the work of four artists:

Chris Tap, Lara Annina, Wilfert Verweij and ZusszArt each exploring, in their own way, the connection between nature, instinct and form.

The beauty of what cannot be tamed

UNTAMED is about the place where control ends and instinct begins.

Nature can be beautiful, powerful and unpredictable.

I believe the same is true of our inner world.

Beneath everything we show on the outside live emotions, memories and connections that cannot always be explained or controlled.

That is a theme that feels deeply connected to my work.

Through layers, rich textures, symbolism and golden details, I try to give form to what often remains invisible: emotions, memories, intuition and the subconscious.

My artworks invite you to look beyond the surface and discover what resonates within you.

At UNTAMED, this inner human landscape meets the different artistic worlds of Chris Tap, Lara Annina and Wilfert Verweij.

Sculpture and painting, animal instinct and human emotion, strength and vulnerability all come together in one exhibition.

A golden thread

There is one element connecting the different worlds of UNTAMED: gold.

Not simply as decoration, but as a symbol of transformation.

Throughout the exhibition, gold appears in different materials and forms from epoxy and bronze to gold leaf and textured surfaces.

It marks that fascinating point where something raw and instinctive is transformed into something lasting.

Gold has always had a special presence in my own work.

For me, it can illuminate a detail, create depth or draw attention to something that might otherwise remain hidden.

That makes it especially meaningful to see this element become the connecting thread between four very different artistic practices.

Experience UNTAMED

UNTAMED is intended to be more than an exhibition to simply walk through.

Throughout the programme, there are several opportunities to experience the artworks and meet the artists in a different way.

The exhibition begins with Opening Night on 30 October, featuring a dance performance, live music and the exhibition itself.

On 6 November, I will join the other artists for UNTAMED Artist Stories, an intimate evening where we will share more about our inspiration, our work and the stories behind the art.

There is also a special UNTAMED for Kids afternoon on 7 November.

I would love to welcome you in Antwerp and invite you to experience UNTAMED for yourself.
