Where Art Meets Poetry
Every artwork begins with a story
an emotion, a memory or something hidden beneath the surface.
On this page, the paintings of ZusszArt find a new voice through poetry.
Each poem is inspired by a specific work and explores the feelings, symbols and untold stories held within its layers.
The words do not explain the art.
They invite you to look again, feel more deeply and discover your own meaning.
Because sometimes a painting whispers what words cannot say
and sometimes a poem reveals what the eye has yet to see.
Wet Secret
Beneath layers of pink, gold and blue,
a nameless body moves a gentle current of silent longing that, in daylight,
dares not reveal itself.
Pearls rest like confessions
upon the skin of water and secrecy,
innocent in their pale shimmer,
seductive in all
they leave unspoken.
Deep within the colour and untamed lines,
she swims the woman no one ever fully sees.
Half dream, half truth,
half hidden beneath waves
of desire and sorrow.
But when daylight fades
and silence slowly turns to darkness,
the canvas begins to open itself.
What once remained concealed
now wordlessly starts to glow.
Then the mermaid appears:
sensual, vulnerable and free.
No longer afraid to exist,
yet still protected
by water, night
and imagination.
For intimacy rarely reveals itself
in a single gesture or a single face.
Some secrets ask for time.
Some truths can only live fully
within the light
that darkness gives.

Searching for Connection
People are always searching for connection
a hand that stays,
a gaze that says:
I see you.
We build bridges out of words,
yet sometimes live behind walls.
We touch one another briefly
and silently hope
someone will come closer.
We search for ourselves in others,
in recognition, warmth and light.
Sometimes we find a home,
sometimes only a reflection
of what we miss.
We move towards one another,
drift apart
and return
like waves returning to the shore,
forever longing
for the same land.
For beneath every silence,
behind each carefully guarded face,
lives one simple wish:
not merely to exist,
but to be connected
somewhere,
to someone.
